only 1 resource at a time?? kinda pricey for only 1 resource type and confusing with the 4 entry points maybe make a huge elevator that takes up 8 at a time or something? come on we trying to harvest these resources or flirt with it lol

you can send multiple resources through it. You Once you have an input belt and at least a short segment of output belt, you can configure what will come out of that port, both limited to one resource and to multiple.

Could always just move all refining ops to the surface too, using either the multi regolith processors or just divvy out the ores based on inputs from underground

the surface has severely limited space, so refining up there is not recommended.
