be able to turn on and off productions on the individual resourses that is being prosessed. my machine constantly stops because one of the resourses fill it up.

Build storage off each production exit?

or dont use it until you have machines set up to use all products is another option.

Or, if you only want specfic products, probably should use the single ore refineries.

It's not like it produces enough of any ore to overflow before you can set up a smelter for it.

i had machines that used all the the respurses but it overflows when the material is richer in one spesific ore

I just make sure I have enough throughput at the smelters to cook it all, then mass-sell/contract away whatever I have too much of. That plus a bulk storage for each output seems to cover it reasonably well. It would be nice to have a way to void slag though. Or I could just add even more concrete production 🙂

i too wish there was an easy way to use up slag, as it stands i usually run short of silicon on my brick factory from my multi refinery and my slag storage is always full.

Tbf, i think there should be an option to incinerate excess ores, you can flip the switch to incinerate the overflow and the overflow is turned into slag at the end of each process with idk... 10% increased time to process one batch. There will eventually be overflow because some of the things are in use more than others and you cant predict nor plan for the overflow in such great numbers... eventually you are gonna run out of room to build the storages. The incinerate would solve this issue. While most excess can be stored, the multi regolith refinery does not stop just because one line is full of oxides into the 100000-s. The difference of oxides vary greatly on soil composition so that is why it is a problem. Sure you can build more smelters and then sell the excess but that means that you are forced to constantly do that and make sure that any of those storages arent overflowing. It would be better to nip this in the bud already rather than push the issue further down the line.

You'll never get perfect mix of ores, so you'll have to deal with one somewhere eventually. Use the smelter+storage option to manage it.
