I was able to extend a room to encompass furnaces, but furnaces can't be built inside of rooms so they don't draw the power and are now useless
Room building over modules not allowed to be built inside a room should be blocked.

Also, some modules do not mention that they cannot be placed indoors. Screenshot example of one that does mention it - the pressing module
Modules not mentioning (in the description) they can't be placed indoors :
- Smelting Furnace
- Smart Concrete Factory
- Drone Reconfiguration Module (mining)
- Multi Regolith Refinery (weirdly enough, the single regolith refinery can be placed indoors, so can the rare minerals refinery)
- Hauling Drone Reconfigurator
- Conveyor Elevator
- Utility Pole
- Bulk Storage
- Large Bulk Storage
- General Storage
This list is not exhaustive, I have not yet researched everything 🙂

you can use it like that but u need an energy pylon for the connection.

Except if you removed the power poles ... because you can't rebuild them 😉 Still seems like it's not intended to have them inside

you can... u must delete the tile and open the room so its not a room anymore. build it and close it again.
