Rules and Community Standards

1. Be yourself
Don't pretend to be a Wargaming employee, volunteer, or otherwise.

2. Don't be a jerk
We all have that feeling when we know we're being a bit irrational, unreasonable, or having fun at the expense of everyone else... if you start to feel that, stop.

3. Personal attacks
Stat shaming, personal attacks, threats, phrases designed to be offensive or attack someone, etc. This includes intentionally trolling other users in your post or attacking WG volunteers, staff, or partners. Be civil.

4. Trolling and Provocations
We encourage friendly banter but be mindful of crossing the line. Deliberately provoking, trolling, or baiting others for a reaction disrupts the community and will be addressed swiftly. This includes using reactions.

5. Toxicity and Harassment
We’re all here to have fun and enjoy the game together. Toxic behavior, sustained negativity, or persistent harassment toward other members, staff, or volunteers will not be tolerated.

6. Misinformation
Spreading false information - especially about game mechanics, updates, or official news - can confuse other players. If you’re unsure about something, double-check or ask for clarification.

7. Non-productive or Off-topic Discussions
Stay focused on relevant and constructive topics, especially in game-related channels and threads. Non-productive discussions that derail topics or add no value may be redirected, locked, or removed.

8. When in doubt, take it to a private chat
Discord allows users to DM each other, so if a conversation becomes disruptive, you may be asked to move to a private channel.

9. Excessive Profanity
Be an adult; excessive profanity does not help make your point.

10. Religious and Political Discussions
You’re free to feel how you feel about these topics, but an online video game chat is not the place for it.

11. Posting exploits/hacks
If you encounter a bug, or a third-party tool that would otherwise impact gameplay, please report it by filing a ticket to Wargaming.net customer support.

12. Discussing moderation
If you’ve had a post moderated, please provide feedback in private.

13. Pinging
Keep pinging to a minimum, and do not ping roles. Excessively pinging staff members is strictly forbidden.

14. Filters
Our bots automatically filter some words; attempting to bypass the filters or find loopholes around our rules is not permitted.

15. Pornographic, drug, or other taboo content
This Discord is not the place for this sort of content.

16. Do not advertise
Advertising or self-promotion is not allowed on this server. This includes promoting personal channels, streams, videos, communities, Discord servers, referral links, or similar content.
Sharing World of Warships–related content is allowed only when it is directly relevant to an ongoing discussion and not posted for promotional purposes. Repeated or promotional posting may be treated as advertising.

17. Brigading and Raiding
Organizing, encouraging, or participating in brigades or raids against this or other Discord servers, subreddits, or any online communities is strictly prohibited. This includes any coordinated effort to target another community with negative behavior, spam, or disruptions. Violating this rule will result in immediate action, which may include a ban from our server.

18. Stay on Topic - World of Warships PC
Please refrain from discussing or sharing content from other naval warfare games in all channels. We appreciate your enthusiasm for all things naval, but let's keep our focus on World of Warships here. You can discuss games from other genres in our off-topic channel or off-topic forum. Thank you for keeping our community focused and respectful!

19. Don't send unsolicited DMs to WG staff
We love to talk to you, but if the team feels like they are getting spammed, they may stop showing up.

General Forum Rules

1. No Duplicate Posts
Please refrain from posting duplicate threads. This includes threads with slightly altered wording on the same topic. Use the search function to find existing discussions. If a topic has been inactive for more than 30 days, you're welcome to start a new conversation on the subject.

2. Avoid Necro Posting
Please do not revive threads that have been inactive for 90 days or more, especially to bump them. Focus on current discussions or start a new thread on relevant topics.

3. Posting in the Correct Section
Ensure your thread is posted in the appropriate forum section. Misplaced threads will be informed, locked, and removed after 24 hours without penalties unless repeated misplacements suggest intentional disruption.

4. Clan Recruitment Posts
Each clan is allowed only one recruitment topic. Duplicate topics by the same clan will result in the deletion of the newest post. However, individual clans within a broader community may each have their own post.

5. Bumping Recruitment Posts
Clans may bump their recruitment posts once every 24 hours to maintain fairness and visibility without spamming.

6. Deleting and Reposting Recruitment Posts
To maintain a fair and organized forum space, refrain from deleting and reposting recruitment threads in an attempt to circumvent the one bump per 24-hour regulation.
