monster hunting is based on a timer and when it hits 0 the heroes retreat

all damage dealt during that time is what counts

healers are pretty much only useful when heroes die before the timer expires

Damage 'usually increases' (hero and monster dependent) when hitting separately. I will occasionally still send multiple hits at once as it often provides more individual reward items. At least in my experience.

If you need multiple hits to kill a monster, it's more energy efficient to do single hits because each successive hit gets a boost.

Lvl 2 monsters 4 regular hits kills so I do a x4 hit to one shot it
Lvl 3 monsters take 16 hits regular... So I single hit with full bar twice.. I do it just to be safe and I know that's what it will take if I hit one by one

We are a 1B guild in a relatively baby kingdom (700s)
Most of us can kil Monster Lv1 in 3-4 hits, maybe 5-6 for stronger ones.

NEED ADVISE ON : Should we be hunting Lv1 monsters alone or should we switch over to lv2 Monsters?

@main agate if you can't kill the monster, you don't get any guild gift for it. Just focus on killing the highest level monsters you can, even if it's only lv1. It does take time to build up.

You can co-ordinate with your guild members to all work together to take down a higher level monster now and then though. Focus on monster hunting research, that helps a lot

Every time someone in the guild kills a monster, the entire guild gets a gift. It's well worth it

Here's a small example. Being in a guild with a decent amount of gifts makes a HUGE difference to everyone's growth, especially for new players.

hi, can anyone explain to me how guild gifts work? is it true that each day there is a limit to how many mats you can get from gifts before drop chances decrease? because when i join 2 buses a day the first bus always drops much more mats than the second. (both have 40 gold, 100 purple, 220 blue btw) feel free to pm as i really need to know if i'm wasting my energy

From what I understand it's rumored there's a soft cap but no actual proof of it. Could be luck, rng, anything really as to why you're getting gifts in the first but not second. Some have the opposite problem where they get nothing no matter what. Others bus all day long and get crazy drops.

I've even heard, gift level matters to no it doesn't it depends on what you last kill (example: if your last monster was a lvl 3 you won't get gifts higher than that grade lvl). What I have noticed being on busses is lvl 2 busses seem to drop more gems than anything and by lvl 2s I mean if they allow it at all. 3s seem to get mix of shields and relos. 4s and higher yield a mix of rare items, gems, and shields. But that's just my experience

im using snow queen, bombin goblin, incinerator, elementalist, witch doll

it does only slightly less than for the existing monsters (~36% compared to ~38% on lv1)

After some experimentation I'm getting best results with witch doll, petit devil, dream witch, incinerator and Elementalist.
It's possible there's better line ups, but that combo gives me similar attack damage on a lv2 as any other monster
