That will make your familiar an elder by then. And familiars can use their battle/support skill only when they reach elder stage.

The orbs will take some time, but you will get them

Extra spires when you are "done" with fams is not bad tho, 1 skillstone at a time sux

Problem with that is anima production. All the skillstones have that requirement and it doesn't hurt to have as much springs as there are spires. That's why most use 5 springs, 2 gyms and a single spire but would go 5 springs 2 spires and 1 gym once they have gotten all the pact 4's to lv60.

This sucks in defense because people send buffer troops so your first 1-2 squad attack are wasted on them. It sucks in attacks because it is wasted on a wall. The only time it isn't completely useless is in a wonder battle.

But people fighting in wonders competitively have way better options than pyris

Aquirius is one of the better options for defense, you are right. This is because the flat hp reduction applies always- it does not depend on you losing a % of your troops. (Such as goblin/gremlin)

I didnt get pyris elder until after I got all the pact 4 fams elder. You can skip it and not miss out on anything relevant.

pryis is just not as good as people hype him up to be

he is not a horrible familiar at all, the skills arent useless and the pryis attack is kind of useful to test castles or just fun to throw a fireball at a pepega

but his battle skill, takes affect when the battle begins, and its on a timer, meaning normally his skill runs out in battle when the wall goes down, deeming him ineffective as a war familiar

same with defense, the enemy will not even break the wall before his skill runs out, or just begin hitting your troops when the boost runs out

Like the -40% cav hp since inf is my front line and I want the cav die as soon as possible

the -40 percent hp familiars arent bad, they get used in blasts occasianally. the problem is that it only applies to one set of troop type and when it dies it does not take affect

especially as your comp should be mixed, skills that boost all troop stats are preferrable
