It does matter, your starting kingdom gets 180d of relative safety so you should almost certainly stay there. While certain things transfer between kingdoms (Guild gifts) some don't (helps) so you're better off being in a guild in the kingdom you're in, which in this case is a kingdom that's relatively safe so you should try finding a guild in your own kingdom. You can't really find guilds in a specific kingdom here (since it's unlikely that someone who's recruiting will be in the same kingdom as you are) so I'd just recommend looking around your own kingdom, you could also check kingdom chat for guilds that are recruiting in your kingdom @tribal field
