Basically if your Kabal is the one hit by her paasive, you can cancel it by having a MK11 teammate die
@dusty cobalt .. funny if you only have 2 OPP.s left and you tag her in for the first time and lock him away.m even then if her SP2 is used.. and if unblocked her fear will over ride the lock and tag the other guy in.. and also it's better to not lock in KABAL mk11 or BD when using her.. rather to chip then away.. first by controlling who is tagged in by her passive and SP2 and kill them first

My most commonly used team is just Scorpions.

Klassic is a little useless as sometimes when you use his SP1 on the strongest enemy and hit under 80% no damage is applied.

@brittle obsidian you can maximize Kenshi's card with either Sonya/Scorp + Kung Jin. Kenshi's crit. dmg. goes off the charts. An S2 can obliterate any card slightly above Kenshi's level. Can even whip Gold and Diamond cards.

@snow stone There is a way though. Triborg Sub-Zero's combo-ender freeze if he has the support robot.
For stun, Klassic Kano or a Talent named "The Spirit of Vengeance" (kinda risky, that stuns the opponent if your character gets knocked out)

Haven’t played the mk11 gold team in a while so I decided to try them out today, and They’re all pretty good. They all have really good basic attacks and nice speed, as well as they seem to generate more power than what’s stated on their cards.

Is that supposed to happen? Definitely Kabal and jade for sure, they gain a seemingly larger amount of power on their combo Enders, while raiden seems to just get a little more power from each attack than others with the same power gen stats as him.

@high widget I've only used Takeda recently coz the game kinda forces you to use seldom used characters in Elder Challenges.

i know Skarlet is not a good character and her sp attack have low damage but believe me she does insane amount of basic attack damage especially when she's equipped with her equipment (vial of infinite blood) which grants her unblockable attack also a critical chance weapon and teamed with Scorpion.. scorpion gives her 25% LETHAL BLOW chance + she gets 50% damage boost when it's raining blood even with low fusion she does insane basic attack damage + her bleed stacks on combo enders when it's raining blood

For those who have the characters and want a fun team to play as, I highly recommend Konqueror Shao Kahn, Ravenous Mileena, and Klassic Goro with block breaker equipment on Kahn and Goro and buzzsaw also on Kahn. Very fun to play.

In passive he has an advantage but we have to look at everything which includes stats, SP attacks and basic attacks

He’s has the stun which is really good. He has power gen buff which makes it super easy to get your SPs again and his sp1 dispel comes in handy. Dark raiden is a good kard but he offers no support for your team and dies very quickly. Not to mention his SP attack do little dmg

And now since he’s a diamond he has the equipment advantage as well

@sturdy belfry dark raiden is clutch for certain situations like dark magic or against DoT/Powers drainers but his stats are way too low to be considered better than mk 11. I’ve used both against top tier diamonds and mk 11 raiden performs a lot better than dark raiden. Dark Raiden does way to little dmg and isn’t even that good a tank outside DoT heal. And yes a 4th equipment slot does make all the difference.

Being easier to get isn’t really making him better. Dark Raiden is easy AF to kill. He dies quick to one high end dmg attack. In order for him to even get that x Ray the enemy needs so power drain him or use fire/frost. His SP2 is good but I’d rather have MK11 with molach ball and chain. Plus mk 11 raiden also has the advantage of having awesome synergy with other mk 11 characters

Dark raiden doesnt nees the extra slot, everything that others need for dot and power drain resistance, he doesnt need. Anything others need for unblockables, he doesnt need. 3 is more than enough, you can just add hp boosts and be fine

Just out of curiosity do you even have both maxed out? And the 4th slot makes all the difference in the world. You can’t deny that. In my experience dark raiden tends to not take a hit at all especially against beasts that do a lot of dmg.

Gear does more than increase immunity . Hell you can add 4 pieces of health gear if you wanted. Even blocking he doesn’t take a hit to well and he doesn’t have the attack to even make up for it like CoS Lui Kang. Besides so many team use unblockable that character have to be able to take a hit without blocking at some points of the fight

The point is, if you want even a chance at resistance, you need gear, gear which dark raiden doesn’t need. So even if dark raiden couldn’t take a hit (which is bullshit lmfao) he can heal right back up without gear. Mk11 raiden can get eaten alive by dot and power drain and by a defensive opponent, and dark raiden powers right through that. Dark raiden is better, end of story
