@vale star souls will drop from losses or wins in the towers, if you lose fatal battles on purpose you will have a chance for souls. You can normally get around 40 or so, and about the pack, I would say you need to work on fusing your golds higher at first, you can get 3 golds for the price of one diamond. Good luck 👍

I couldn’t do any fatal battles for a long time, I kept losing on purpose and made quite a bit of souls off of it. I then used those souls for gold packs, got my inferno scorpion to f7 and now I’m at 120 in fatal and I have completed normal.

Someone is saying Klassic Smoke is a challenge character because they've seen Klassic Smoke appear from the tower where a challenge character card is guaranteed. Cover Ops Cassie, one of the Sonya, Tactical Sonya I think, Warlock Quan Chi and oooh, Assassin Kitana! were "combat pack exclusive" characters and could only be gotten through random chance from the combat pack. @tough cairn thanks for the tip. So far I’ve only seen tiger goro but haven’t gone for him since it is a really long quest. Been farming the 1 hour during the day and 4 hour over night for souls. It seems weird there aren’t any 2 or 8 hour quests but there are 12 and 24 quests. They seemed to miss some values

There used to be more possible players in the towers but some were pulled when they became diamond, so vengeful shinnok, klassic kano and the triborgs are good still. As I recall. Once upon a time there was like kold war sonya and kold war scorpion, possibly others, but they've been pulled. Unfortunately they didn't replace them with some character or ther for newer players but you can mention that in game feedback. I think there are a few eight hour quests but you have to hunt around for them. Try #🦎-quest-mode-la-luna someone thee might have mentioned them.

BTW If folks are new faction wars is frustrating but spend some time on it, it helps long term develop your collection, plus a lot of the characters have feats of strength (gold and diamond) and many need to win fights in Faction Wars to improve their abilities a little.
