Wow. I focused only on Outworld 1H high yield Quests until the BD Towers came along.

I got a guaranteed 27 per hour that I played.

With the Netherrealm ones only a 32 or 33 better come out.

Those 27 per hour beat any 1D Quests, if you're vigilant.

You just won't likely Max your Caro's Guidance using 1 hour Quests.

Is it true that you could unpack an .obb file to your external storage and then run an installed application relating to it and it'll find it and use it?

I tried but failed due to complications. For some reason Zarchiver ran into difficulties. But ES File Manager seemed to do okay, but the phone I had enough space on to try it just gave me issue after issue because it's so slow.

So, I gave up and put it off for another time, as I wanted to get back to FW!

If that works, it's like a new breath of life for aging devices and a boon to companies wanting their games tried by as many people possible.

Especially MKM!

Currently, I have to delete the obb files in my internal storage for mkm in order to do various chores. For instance, I had to download a 200 plus megabyte update for my Samsung today. I reinstalled the obb files from my external storage where I keep them as backup. This exercise in tedium would disappear if I could rely on my obbs in the external storage for the game to access and play.

@vague nymph OBB stands by "Opaque Binary Blob", it's just a binary file like any executable where only developers know which encoding/encryption method was used for it, so no, it's not true, that's why you failed. Also in Android most applications (if not all) have problems by using application data outside internal storage, because of the nature of external devices; internal memory is faster and has better support for system and software files in general.

Also, I suggest to stop with it bc you may break your apps/storage media by messing with files, you never know what could happen

I don't manipulate .obb files pertaining to MKM, they're too big. As that may be the case with some .obb files you spoke of, some are simply .zip files. If you don't know about that then you shouldn't try telling me what I know about.
