The problem is really with these new packs. It really enrages me. First you spend 10k+ souls just to get a card and then wow, you have it on fusion 0. Collect another 100k souls to max her? Thx, but no thx!

So by now I just try to unlock the card one time and then ignore the pack and go for something I want to max out.

Speaking of luck earlier. About one year ago I got Strike Force Scorpion to fusion 9. And ever since I open pack after pack just to get the final copy to max him out. I have easily spend 50k souls on that pack during that year. So that is luck for people who play for a long time. Every other character in this pack is maxed, so each time you just waste a ton of souls for nothing in return.

Another thing that changed was, that her SP2 was no longer unblockbale as she turned diamond. As gold card she had that. I always wonder why make the diamond weaker than the gold they were before? Makes no sense to me. They did that with a few cards.

Circle of Shadow Kung Lao! All the others kept their cards who gives a bar of power to their class. Hellpawn Scorpion and Shaolin Kung Jin for Martial Artists, Mournful Kitana for Outworld, Balanced Kenshi for Spec Ops... And I as mainly Netherrealm player feel betrayed. I can only boost Circle of Shadow teams with COS Kung Lao now, no longer the other gold cards. Bad deal if you ask me.

One thing where I love the change to diamond was for Cutthroat Kano and Revenant Jax. Both now are much more fun to play. That was very well done on NRS' part.

I disagree. Klassic Scorpion and Klassic Sub-Zero are pretty good.

Klassic Scorpion's passive is really good in many situations if you have someone who wants to let a character recover.

Then you just kick their ass while you force them into battle. Also, Klassic Sub-Zero can spam his 2nd ability six times if you get it right, and it can be a lot of damage. It also weakens anyway.

If you want to go for the gears first, though, any of them are good to max. I would max Sindel's Signet Ring since it copies buffs.

Scorpion is good, but for sub zero it’s hard to repeat it after 2 attempts. Also the shields prevent it from happening also
