KcSb disables regeneration on any character that uses the regeneration modifiers by simply tagging the character out of play.. So my advice, fight small then use KcSb to tag out that character and they will not regenerate even when they come back

i enjoy fighting against stronger opponents, cause it allows me to sharpen my skills in the game, and because towers are the only real "challenge" we have in the game, other modes are easy (not considering survivor mode)
also the gear that we can drop from towers is really good
i do most matches in one try, only sometimes i get stuck on a battle, but for these towers the hardest battle took me 12 tries, then i changed ONE equipment and i did it in one with the new setup (battle 198 ToH)
i wasted more tries because of the brutalize talent bug than for actual lost battles

I also enjoy to fight stronger opponents because I do agree that equally powerful opponents are indeed to weak. But at some degree the fights are sooo unfair that is not fun. I want to lose because I make mistakes. I've just won fight 199 in toh. When kabal techs in I blocked but he was still allowed to act first. Then it was an endless loop of him being allowed to act before my character if I didn't block or he broke my block. I managed to swap my character out and somehow was finally allowed by the game to act before him but this fight could have just been lost. I don't consider this fun because it didn't revolve any skill. It was me being lucky.
Another example is fight 198 that you just mentioned. It took 2 tries to beat. Did I play better game 2? No, but I was just a bit more lucky that I managed to get out of the endless strike force/terminator loop.

I had deathmark and I really didn'tl ike that skill. It activated way below 25% and was almost never active when I needed it. When it was active it was actually really useful but to inconsistent to be practical.

@desert lava you have to break that frosty skin first, if you snare, the other will beam full XRAY on tag-in, not even centurion defense will help,, I'd suggest you red card scorp using KC Sonya, tag in KC Johnny to snare sonya, kill her as her sp2 will freaking powerdrain you and set your ass on fire,, as for sub,, snare sp1 from Johnny back to back... as for scorp, 1XRAY will give you an advantage

It's assassin jade/ kl liu and kw scorpion. While liu kang is also a problem I have been able to beat him and scorpion several times but I always die with jade. So much health you chip at her health (I actually dps bosses faster than her) and she just kills your guy when she can do sp skill. modifier is when one of your team dies you lose

It's a tough battle with vimpirism! Use weak points of jonnhy to snare, put Quan out of battle using Sonia and finish other two 1st, after snare use cassie spl2 as it deals lot more damage, boost her damage using wrath hammer and shao kahn helmet

@quick dune I think you are maxing every talent in chain! Don't do that max only those which benefit most in chain else just move to next in chain! This way you will have enough points to reach end of both and get best

I used KC Sonya to knockout Jade. Then Casie Spec Ops with Spec Op Scorpion to deal with the remaining two. By the time they die. One of my characters will definitely be on X-ray mode. I use that on her and game over.
