When you start the towers, and you have lover fusions, then is a must to play and refresh normal tower to max out uncommon tower gear and to get some rare

And when you have enough power on your team gained with that equipment, then you go after refreshing Fatal

I only use gear on Scorpion and the first time the gear were Revolvers F7, Shao Khan Helmet F5, Sindel Ring FX and Survivor Memories FX

My talent tree was focused on damage with Scorpion's SP1

I just completed my 7th run of fatal and got my 5th jades armor. this is freaking stupid. I also got my 3rd sell back mk11 scorpion, when i dont even have a hell spawn scorpion, and the other 2 scorps are low fusions. Technically this was my 4th sell back scorpion cuz i also got him as a random reward from fatal 100. The SRT tower has been the worse POS.

I have 0 hellspawn scorps, and i didnt get the nunchuks, nor can i complete the tower and 8th time. Which would just probably give me another mk11 scorp and another jades armor like my 7th run just did.

Don't let sfs heal, use chains on scorpion if u have them, stun + power drain and possibly snare if u have weak point attacks, than try for the highest dmg if he's snared

So battle 189 which people here apparently don't find that hard...how do you beat it easily? I have AGAIN lost 3!!!! times in a row

It's so bloody undoable. I beat 184 in one go this time. But it's just not possible to find a good tactic. One of the reasons seems to be that somehow things just never seem to go your away at all. NO triggers of snare. When you tag in sonya the game will swtich to scorpion. You react with switching in sonya? The game will not allow in and instantly do a fatal and than will give you the other character etc. Bloody hell annoying.

@agile light ha this was actually the first strategy i tried but I found that one wasn't very efficient since scorpion just saves them twice and just kills your tremor with his ult.

I do also cripple, but it's the ult's that get me not the sp 1 or 2's

I'm on the beginning tower fights again and I've been experimenting. I don't think it's that random that some players have been getting Epic gear and others get all koins.

Typically on the early levels I have one strong card and two I'm leveling up. The strong card with tower gear is the safety net. I've noticed:

1. If I blast through the 3 opponents with the strong kard, it's koins. Nearly every time.

2. If I let one of the weaker cards have a kill, the reward is often a minor one like a Support card.

3. If I split the kills between the three characters, I often get Rare/Common non-tower equipment. This works even when using the strong character to knock down the health of the opponent before checking back in the weak kard for the kill.

Still have not received a "random" tower Epic though.

This could of course just be observation bias. If you're on the easy levels try it and let us know what happens.

The initial load screen (when you start the game and the MK logo spins on bottom-right) takes so damn long because the game is chatting with a couple dozen ad servers. It won't load without a internet connection, but will load if you capture/block ad networks on your router, say with an ad blocking DNS. Obviously you won't get to watch the 5 ads for 25 souls each day.

Ive never gotten 1000 coins which is the minimum but i have gotten 1001 coins 3 times recently. @gusty dagger We wouldn't have noticed until hearing reports of that exact situation happening too often.

I've also seen the same behavior in the Equipment Pack, the only pack I've opened enough times to have data on. The Wrath Hammer is a rare drop until you get it to FX. Then the "rare" slot in those packs is a much higher likelihood of sellback Wrath Hammers from there on out, reducing the chances to level up your other equipment kards.

@gusty dagger My chains is F3 and my sword is F2, all from normal tower 110. And my bracers are F3 and it was the only one i got randomly. The drop rates of this tower beyond suck. The drop rates of the BDT towers were at least 3x of this tower

You also can snare with either Triborg if you have Weak Point Attacks maxed. And Triborg Smoke on the team.

You can snare with WPA and power drainers (and some luck), doesn't matter who.

FYSA with KC Sonia, do not use her SP2. Fear can force the opponent out temporarily... and Kabal off his redcard & back in to kick your ass.

Well in the BDT i got 13 random rares (8 non random) for 21 rares. I currently have 4 random rares (7 non random) for 11 rares. I also got 2 random epics in the BDT towers. I have 0 here.

The random drops are SIGNIFICANTLY worse for the srt towers.

If you all care, one thing that appears actually random is the 8-card daily Try Your Luck. I've been recording locations of the Kard and Souls for 40+ days (I don't care about the others, common equipment, koins and level ups). Here's the data for that so far on my account.

I don't have enough data for it to be significant, but appears random so far.

Yes and it works, but without my third character in the mix it ruined the flow of my team, ima very a offense player, my triborg smoke can snare(when wpa wants to work) and cripple, aftershock tremor can force tag in to the lowest health and my dark raiden is my highest fused and he’s fast as hell than the other two, while ermac drains a lot of health from them the flow i had is gone

one SF Scorpion tags in keep using KC Jonny SP1 which drains his power and Having "weak point attack" talent help to snare and he won't dip right after using sp2

@sly venture Use Mk11 scorpion SP1 over and over again and have it over 90% so it cripples. Slap 2 block breaker items on him (I find 1 block breaker item on boss fights to be not efefctive enough) so you can have him hit about 3/4 of your hits.

None at all. on top of the horrible design like putting in strike force scorpion as a boss character....

@upbeat flower Ha yes there are certainly stages that are quite poorly designed. Now I do think it's difficult to keep the balance between challenging but still fights that are fun. But when it takes several attempt to beat a lvl s and you keep stumbling over the same problems it does get quite frustrating.

I have a feeling we are in the minority though and most people think it's perfectly fine. I don't really understand why they think it's fine though ^^

A lot of people have really good cards. I just wish they could balance it between how good your cards are and your strategy. For instance if they started her first, you know you're going for snaring so she doesn't go out to cause damage on tag in. Or they put a way to evade it like with Kabal.

Now if you don't have such cards, you'd need high fusion rare or epic tower equips but the drop rate is also low.

Instead we getting drops for Non-Shirai Ryu characters that honestly shouldn’t be in the event. They made it extremely hard to get Specter’s Burning Vengeance from random drops, Fatal Battle #200 and Packs. I haven’t got one random Epic drop of Specter’s Burning Vengeance in the game it came from Packs. $40 worth of packs to get a Fusion 2.

I honestly beginning to feel that Netherrealm Studios wasted my time and money with this event. MK11 Scorpion is my favorite character in the whole game. They made an event Shirai Ryu Tower. I am thinking it would be like Lin Kuei Tower. Fatal Battle #200 you getting Diamond Scorpion and Edenian and Liu Kang Champion gear. A lot of gamers still cannot do Brutalities because of this. Buying packs doesn’t make it any easier because out of $220 I got F2 Specter’s Burning Vengeance Armor.
