I managed to beat Fatal Shirai Ryu tower 193, I tried a few things that failed horribly and went back to the same team I've used throughout most of the tower - Undead Hunter Johnny, Punk Cassie, and Spec Ops Scorpion, I dropped a gear from Scorpion to add wrath hammer some where in here between 193 and 197 (which I just beat tonight), which when I'm not getting enough power I'll give wrath Hammer X to Scorpion. Like when Dark Emperor Liu Kang throws an x-ray the second the game starts, if Johnny dies, then I have a special one to start with for spec ops scorpion and it's been doing okay since, a few defeats between 193, 194, 195, 196 and 197 but making decent progress one or two wins per three. I would imagine most have passed this stage on Discord but if anyone hasn't that's what I did. Generally work for a special 2 on Johnny to snare the "correct" opponent (like MK11 sub zero) and taking them down, the MK11 team was trouble because I couldn't do special one stun repeat unless MK11 Kabal had tagged in, but I got them with a few tries. Might be able to complete the tower. Course, no luck with the MK11 pack for a scorpion.

I just completed 4 runs on these towers , I just really wanted scorpions brutality but instead got jades and lui kang brutality.... What's even more sad is that i dont have diamond lui kang and my jade card is very low fusion level.. Won the tower but at what cost...?? 😔

One minor clarification - I changed rusty chainsaw for Kitana's bladed fan on punk Cassie. The difference being both offer unblockable percentage, but the fan has a chance to give health on a special 1, makes a big difference.

Wait he has shao kahn, ok here's the plan: get terminator under 40%, tag with shao kahn and do sp2 on him to avoid the endoskeleton, then use him to absorb the xray/red card and use your characters to kill sonya and jax
Btw the modifier is not enraged, they should start with 1.5/2 bars of power, you can handle it
And the character that tags in after terminator won't have the xray
How it can backfire?
Kabal has snare on sp1 so you're sure that he don't escape before shao kahn can do brutality on him
Raiden has one of the highest damage dealing sp2 a d with his passive he can stun and remove combo enders for the opponents

Ofc you have to fight and hit them, they won't disappear in a bubble of soap
And while you fight, you get power...

2nd strategy: If it doesn't work at all try using silver scorpion ur highest scorpion and use the infinite stun technique making sure he doesn't die or red carded. Use the other cards to absorb damage.it will take time but be patient. I hope ur talent tree is best utilized @cunning nebula

I've reached Fatal Shirai Ryu tower 200 with my team. FSRT 200! First three tries I managed to knock out the first scorpion, now I've burned three tries trying to get spec ops scorpion whittled down, and the other scorpion is on the ropes. Haven't won yet, but having one boss down and two wounded looks like tonight at 10pm I'll be getting done!

Riight, Hellspawn is down for me. @tribal beacon, you bet, I type about 50 words per minute, thought some folks could use the idea, though that team is very grind intensive, some of the higher fights take multiple multiple tries until you get the right things (revenant, tag out) to work when you really need them.... @hallow mauve keep attacking it, you can get a win! @agile light when you are ready come back and try again if your mental state can handle it, sometimes a loss will give you gear, too, and that may break you loose to climb higher on the tower. @worn stirrup ideally you need your team at Fatal Shirai Ryu tower FSRT 170 to be able to stun and keep spec ops scorpion stunned, although the battle is timed, you can gradually beat him down, because it's a boss and the damage carries forward to the next try. You all should keep playing because even losses can generate gear, and some of the "lamer" rarities if you get them to FX have useful abilities down the road, like Ice Bomb FX was used by Mand in one of their videos to beat a Shirai Ryu tower, keep trying to gain strength with better equipment levels.

I have revenant, if you have living dead armor that may help, but you might need to ignore the special attack blowback if you can get a scorpion going on a special 1 sequence how much damage you suffer doesn't matter because the blowback won't kill your character, only make them desperately vulnerable to getting killed when punk cassie tags in.

Look at the power generation gear you have as well, if you can't get scorpion to run special 1 endlessly, usually you have to do at least some basic attacks between and if you have shirai ryu kunai at maximum it does additional basic attack damage on stunned characters which will assist.

FSRT 184 is such bullshit. 12 attempts so for this time now, same team as first time when I timed/lucked my way through this level after it was made tougher. Why require reflect damage, revenant, power drain, bone shield...when they’re nearly never going to fire during this level?
I’ve had KLK down twice to his last breath and had him SP out of nowhere. Recharged via ad only to have KC Sonya not get any bars. Had the game freeze upon her check in. I know I’m “speaking to the choir” but it’s so ridiculous to make such a broken level, and then make it worse.

@severe prairie I finally snuck through FSRT 184 win the right sequence, enemy checkins and lucky power drains using F2 MK11 Scorp & F2 Shao Khan and F0 KC Sonya. Spam Scorp SP1 with infernal chains, SP1 90%+ on the others, below 90% on Terminator. Red card KLK as soon as he checks in. Shao Khan SP2 on Terminator when he drops below 40%. Takes some luck. My heart was pounding as Scorp chipped away at KLK to finish.

now: at the start of the match, you get terminator under 40%, you snare him with the chains and wpa, once he's under 40% and he can't go anywhere you tag with shao kahn and you do brutality on him

then you keep liu kang crippled with scorpion sp1, you're faster than him so you should be able to keep him crippled for all the match

@ornate bronze This unfortunately has been one of the bugs. I’ve had KLK SP3 and SP1 out of nowhere, even when crippled. It doesn’t always register, even if you’re mashing the SP1.
