Not sure on your collection, but my tracker shows that you can complete the normal tower in about 8 / 9 days, with refresh.
The amount of souls spent varies between ~1700 souls to ~2000 souls.
For me and the lack of diamonds, I think it's worth it.
That amount of souls for a guaranteed diamond (Since my luck with packs is rubbish, I will take these towers any day)

Fatal Shirai Ryu tower 184 is ruining me. Either I can't get to a special 2 to snare Terminator, or I'm getting splattered with a stupid Erron Black special one, or I'm unable to do specials due to Lui Kang's passive, or my characters no matter how fast I tap somehow FAIL at doing the three + combo ender, never had that before.
there also seems to be something going on with Revanent in that battle, as it almost never happens.
Normal tower 110 just dropped me specter's infernal chains.

@severe prairie I finally snuck through FSRT 184 win the right sequence, enemy checkins and lucky power drains using F2 MK11 Scorp & F2 Shao Khan and F0 KC Sonya. Spam Scorp SP1 with infernal chains, SP1 90%+ on the others, below 90% on Terminator. Red card KLK as soon as he checks in. Shao Khan SP2 on Terminator when he drops below 40%. Takes some luck. My heart was pounding as Scorp chipped away at KLK to finish.

Yeah, it should actually be called the 10× fused Diamond only tower. Cuz I got the best gold fused 10×, and that thing just slaps them around like children. It's actually pretty stupid. They have broken all the rules I spent the last year mastering about the game. If u don't have a decent crew of 10× fuses Diamond characters, it is really just a massive waste of time, u won't get even close to beating it.

Boss battles are a poor place for elder god kenshi, IMHO. the passive only works if Kenshi knocks an opponent out with a special, having the power being a question, since most of those bosses have equipment that gives 33% chance for power drain on a special one, and being able to "time" killing the bosses with a special I'd really question if anyone can do that accurately.

@cold quail If you refresh attempts every time possible (daily 27). Tower should end on september 14th, which is 13 days from now. 27x13 = 351 (If you manage to beat every battle in one attempt), so at the end of the tower you should be at around 170 4th run, but there's a chance the towers will get extended, so you'll have time to complete the 4th and maybe the 5th run (again, if you refresh every single time).
@severe prairie IMO Johnny Cage (Kc or SF) is one of the best characters for this tower if u don't have spectral infernal chains maxed or at a decent fusion

Yeah I was writing back to an old comment by Immortal. @young kraken search for my post on Shirai Ryu fatal 180. If you have that team you can slowly wear them down. Once you are at just spec ops scorpion use your own spec ops scorpion with some power generation gear and you should be able to chain Special 1 until you eventually win. Special 1, 2 hits, 2 hits, 2 hits, 3 hits and immediately hit special 1 to prevent combo ender from appearing, and repeat. I actually don't have MK11 Scorpion, or MK11 Kaal, or Black Dragon Tremor. @faith - I've gotten Ninja Yoroi from the equipment pack. It's not often though. I'm stuck on Fatal Shirai Ryu 184.
