I am so dumb. I was playing Fatal 199 using Dark Radian and he works really well. Problem was my damage was lacking. Eventually the enemy edged out and I lost twice. Started making adjustments when I realized I didn't use my level up cards to max his level, which I was about to do but started fighting instead. So dumb.

i used ij2 raiden(f4)+mk11 scorp(f6)+mk11 sub0(fx) and i won.

This was a long tower. They opened it up mid day 4/13 until morning 6/22. 1890 max attempts so 12 diamonds possible if maxed out each day and retries are<=90 total (15 retries average per run). That’s not bad makes me feel good my early mess ups won’t cost me a diamond.
For those with perfect records wont make it past 90 on 10fh run. Short of the diamond 🤣

Now on fatal. If you had max spent on souls over the 2 months cost you 21,000 souls in refreshes to get those 18 diamonds. Assuming you refreshed every time which you may not the last few days. That comes out to 1,167 souls/diamond. Not factoring in buy backs and souls earned.

198 however is giving me issues. I'm relying on KC Sonya to tag out terminator and snare SF Scorpion in a sense by using her sp2 on johnny.

I just finished my 6th run at the Fatal Tower in 202 battles (just lost 1 at level 180 and 200). I started my 7th run at the Fatal Tower and as the event will end on the 22nd June I should be able to complete it another 3 times. Just 2 more times though will be enough to have all 3 members of the Black Dragon team maxed out.

6 Epics from finishing the Fatal tower and 3 drops. One on my 4th run and two on my 5th run. I am also on my 4th run of the Normal tower just to get some gold character sell backs (extra souls).

Kontender 3 gives you the most bang for your buck in terms of getting good characters, as the chances don’t improve above that. But higher ranking gives more rubies etc. Pretty big bounce from kontender elite to champion.

Maxed-out talent tree perks for reflected special dmg (incl. for unblockables) is one thing that could help knock out Jade. Also, max out teamwork perk to boost power gen. Hopefully, if survive Jade initially and get lucky with AI tag-in can use Kenshi to knock-out one of the others for extra power.

Off the top of my head I’d say kitana, jade and kc sonya. The key is to knock out scorpion first. Forcing out Jason and stopping his power gen with sonya is a great start. Kitana’s sp2 can help you get scorp back in the ring if he tags out. And jade’s passive will, if lucky, be very useful against the remaining two. You’ll be able to beat it.
The objective is to knock out jade and Jason with xrays. You might have to use sp’s some times and just hope for the best, though.

There’s a Talent in the Support or Offensive Category I believe you can master that offers a 40% chance to snare on power drain as well, that helps me a lot especially against tanky bosses like Tremor. It really is effective when spamming SFJC’s SP1.
