Flaming fist LK, Hattrick KL and Shaolin Fist LK are your best bet. Put some crits+unblocks on LK, he is gonna be your main damage dealer and tag him in and out to trigger his passive. @spare minnow

I think the elder challenge is not rewarding enough..... The last battle in the elder challenge rewards me just 100 souls for fighting 30 battles whereas the last battle in hard difficulty rewards me with 20+25+65=110 souls for 15 battles.... At this point I don't feel the elder challenges are difficult anymore I just feel like they are boring 😑..... I sometimes don't do the elder challenges just for this reason... Does anyone feel the same???

I am not complaining about the difficulty of the challenge I mean that the elder challenge is not rewarding enough and I used to play them with lot fun before because I didn't have most of my gold cards at fusion x but now the elder challenge is easy for me but there is no point in playing them cause the rewards for elder challenge are not good enough and this makes the tower kinda boring for me....well that's my point...but I still respect your point too... @wheat roost Not necesary on your starting fighter. It works either way. You cannot steal enemy power if the character who has devastator isn't the starter, but 1 bar of power, 20% dmg and 20% health, yes.

Yes. I guess I overlooked that. Anyway, I put it on my fighter with a strong SP1 and let 'em take advantage of the typical Boss who doesn't start out the fight blocking but rather stands vulnerably in an attack pose. Grapples such as Klassic Goro's SP1 work great and depending on other factors can empower him to have another one ready to go after unleashing the initial one. @dusk dagger

Man 126 in Fatal Shirai Ryu tower caused me some difficulty - I switched to KC Johnny, KC Sonya, and Spec Ops Scorpion, used KC Sonya to pin Assassin Jade away, then took care of the first two. It was a really close win down to the wire with just Sonya alive versus jade but I got a special 2 off and KC sonya is fairly fast versus Jade so I died but the swirly red stuff (revenant from talent tree?) saved me.

I have FX KC Johnny, FX KC Sonya, and F8 Spec Ops Scorpion. Sorry, wrong equipment, KC Johnny had dragon teeth 3. Sonya military vest X and Shinnok's amulet X, and spec ops had Shirai Ryu Kunai X, Specter's Infernal Chains -1, Ice bomb 3, and Storm Hat X.

I don't recall a challenge for any of the Jason characters. Slasher was a reward in Factin Wars a long time ago, like 1.0 When it was called MKX mobile. Shaolin master was a "store exclusive" in what was then I think called a combat pack, along with warlock quan chi and covert ops Cassie and.... one of the Sonyas. They were random drops from that pack and couldn't be bought with souls directly, Warlock Quan Chi could be gotten later on from a Neatherrealm pack with Rev. Subzero and Rev Jax.

You'll still get the bonus rewards every fourth, eighth and twelfth match of 12; every fifth, tenth and 15th of 15, etc. even if you skip the battle rather than fight it.

I'm not encouriging people to use money on the game because they made one challenge so hard, but I've been playing for years and the drop rate for diamonds is so bad that I have pretty solid teams and could make all the other towers relatively easily but 184 was just too much to handle with one hitting opponents.

I decided to buy the gramd pack after couple of days with no chance in that fight. I got secret rolls FV->X, couple of rejection fields with insame 400% max health boost, couple of infernal chains and muramasa blades.

After that the first try was just bad but I made it in the second one with all my characters still alive.

FX shao kahn for taking terminator with sp2, FX SFJC for damage dealing and KCSB to red card KLK after terminator was down.

@lyric garnet I feel your pain. I've been feeling it the past 3 or 4 elder challenges mself. But for me, it looks like I will be strong enough this time, I daresay the first time for me. You should keep 450 souls on hand in case TG Raiden shows up in the character store. If you fuse him to F3 you might have a fighting chance before the challenge expires next week, at least to take it up to level 26 or 27. Even if your F3 can't get you past around floor 26, those time-limited 60 second battles, you can buy your way to the top and should be able to take on the boss. If you end up paying 200 or 300 souls for skipping 3 or 4 floors, dont forget you'll get 100 of them back after defeating the boss. Paying a net 100-200 souls for a Smoke Triborg card is a mighty fine purchase.
