@slow cedar Unless you can fuse a diamond, they are just glitzy characters that don’t really do much. A FX silver is way more powerful than a F0 diamond. The only reason to use one at that point would be for the diamonds passive. I used to use the two I had but my silvers and gold soon far outpaced the F0 diamond and they no longer fit in my teams.

It is hard for me to fit 10k characters in when the teams I’m mostly using now are 20-28k attack. At some point, the nice diamond passives don’t help and you need pure attack to bust through. At least that is what I’ve seen so far.

It’s really not advisable for new players to spend souls trying to get diamonds. With a good roster of high fusion golds you can beat most challenges, quests and towers, and do well in FW. So that should be the priority.

On the other hand, is better to open diamond packs which gives you a challenge gold if not a diamond
This way you create a lot of chances to get diamonds, but also not entirely wasted souls if you get challenge gold
You get much easier the gold cards, you will have them maxed soon enough anyway
So imo don't spend souls on golds, better spend souls on elite diamond packs

My mk11 jade with no fusion against opponent assassin jade f4 with full health.. I had X-ray specials but no I did embracing the shadows and used my sp2 on her and later did sp1 and kept fighting and did sp1 again and that killed her 😌 😌 😌
