Higher fusion golds should be your focus. Diamonds are pure luck and a result of lots of playing and souls
Get a good synergy gold/diamond team together and possibly 2-3 strong backup characters of similar fusions
My highest fusions are IV, V, VI, VIII gold & diamond characters and they are basically what I play with if I want a guaranteed win. The fatal tower is very difficult above 170. The regular tower is easy.
I do well with elder challenge. But the last tier requires focus.

There won't be much room for progression cause you won't be able to get the fusions for the diamonds easily ..... @prime wasp since youre using KC team why not just use kc sonya to just keep his BD teammate or MK11 team mate tagged out and defeat kabal first

Fatals etc he can’t block Ik that but it’s pretty impressive that most characters can’t block him and that he can dodge “most” sp, I just wish he had more damage and health

@prime wasp if kabal is defeated before his teammate than he cant perform it...and unless the team mate is BD teammate for BD kabal and mk11 teammate for mk11 kabal he wont perform fatal blow

Just anticipate kabals x-ray and sacrifice an player with a ice shield before tagging in at the right time. I do it everytime that way and avoid the attacks massive damage.

@prime wasp knockout him first and ignore all of his teammate, if his teammate is tagged in who is BD character use KC S sp2 fear to get them out

@prime wasp it's easy though. Bring one of his mk characters down to almost no health. Then tag in an ice shield character to kill them. When kabal tags in, he will do his x-ray but he won't do much damage since the ice shield is there. Afterward, kill him immediately so he can't use it a second time.

Quick fact if you finish a boss opponents with dark raiden's sp 2 kabal's tag in fatal blow attack doesn't trigger even if you dont block :)

@spiral thunder its because the character needs to do the spin thing...but dark raidens sp2 is too long and is immune to those tag in effect and kabal cant use fatal blow
