I was brought up with manners, which means that if someone is talking about something that is concerning yourself then you respond. Alright i understand your concern. Heres the deal. Next time try to not explain your problem in detail here and tag a hutch team member and say you wanted to discuss an issue with them. If it works, you can then be allowed to discuss the issue with a hutchie over PM on discord. If that happens, well and good. If not, then there's always a better way to put it out here. And Here's the important part, if you have tagged a hutchie then its good to ignore anyone else who responds to your question other than the tagged person, especially if that someone else is not helping. This way it minimises or eliminates arguments in the discussion.

So... 3 events in a row where the only way to participate is buying an almost 2k gold car, plus the gold/resources needed to upgrade them... just to get a lowsy reward which is less than the resources needed to participate and being competitive...

@real talon this is hilarious... a few day ago i posted this message, complaining about the last 3 events requiring to purchase cars with gold, then other players also complained about it... and now i see that the next event (Camaro D ladder) will ALSO require a gold-only purchased car, plus 150 gold to enter, plus any gold needed to fully upgrade the car if you donโt have all the resources to upgrade it.
As i said before, i play with 2 separate accounts (one on my iPad, and one on my iPhone), and in total i have 7 of the 2019 Camaroโs on one account, and 3 on the other, yet I donโt have one single 2014 Camaro on neither of my accounts, meaning that unless i purchase 1,100 gold ($9.99) on each account i will miss yet another event... on top of a full week of gold-only-car events...
And thatโs exactly whatโs gonna happen: if Hutch chooses to double-down on the greed, despite us users complaining about this new trend (now 4 events in a row requiring gold-purchased cars), then i guess iโll keep โsteering awayโ from your game (see what i did there?) until the mix is back to normal...
1 โpayโ event squeezed between 3 or 4 regular events would be understandable.... but 4 pay events in a row, with no regular events in between? Thatโs just pure greed... and will only result on a drop on the player base.
I understand the business side of things (marketing executive of many decades here) and thatโs why I already spent close to what i pay for a full-fledged PC/console game, just to support Hutch on this game... but when i see you guys trying to abuse your player base like this, it just makes me think twice about spending one more dime on a game that only requires a fraction of the development cost of a normal game.

As i said, thereโs a 2019 Camaro that is fairly common on the loot pool (i have 7 on one account and 3 on another), but they intentionally chose the 2014 Camaro instead, because that one you have to buy with gold...
Also, i already spotted another trend from Hutch: they are regularly implementing a โbait and switchโ technique... they did it recently with a Subaru ladder and a C ladder event... they activate these events, making you believe that the next even will be somehow related... so you spend your resources upgrading your car for that next event, only to find that for the next event they use a totally different brand / car... at that point you depleted your resources and the only way to be competitive on the event is using gold to make the upgrades...

Ladder events give you more keys which will give you a lot more gold. This makes up for the lack of return on gold
Head to head doesnโt you get less gold than it cost to enter the event even if you finish top 3 and you only get enough keys to open 1 crate

The issue at hand is gold required to enter these events with the initial car cost, the entry fee, any resources you will need to spend to get your car maxed (because we all know how horrible the current drop rates are), and any rematches that you may do. You lose money on everything just to get a sticker in return
This game is a gold sink. Everything you do will put you in the hole. Why would someone want to join if they know they will not be in the top nine because all of the whales will take the 9 places?

@full jewel The event is a "Camaro Customisation Ladder", and the prize at the end can't be used on the Custom Camaro.
You can't customise a Custom car, so you would still need to buy a Camaro that can use the customisation.
To prevent any disappointment, the event is restricted to the non-custom cars.
When you buy any cosmetic item for a car - it's only available on that car. This is also why you can't buy customisations for a custom car.
