Hi guys, I've upgraded the proffieboard on my saber from v2.2 to v3.9.

I've got two questions please.

  1. This is the switch from a one button TXQ saber.

I wrote down all the previous pin connections from the v2.2 but have lost the note since.

Does anyone know how it should be wired up to the v3.9 board? There are 3 wires, red, black and yellow.

The way the old saber previously worked, you would hold down the button for a few seconds and it would activate the LED on the button and a start up sound would come on. Then, a single button press would ignite/retract the blade...

  1. Can someone explain how I can work out what my blade config is supposed to be? It's a 32" neopixel TXQ saber.

Thanks!

K1 will be the button itself, black would likely be common ground (GND) and the yellow will likely be the base positive for the LED ring.

Ah ok, I thought K1 was power because it's a red wire... And yellow was the button activation...

I'm going off how TXQ normally labels their pinouts via silkscreening on their PCBs, K1 and K2 are always the button pads.

#

then L is always the light positive connection.

Another example of TXQ labeling.

Were you able to change the button led colors?
