#Can a saber become non-functional from misuse?

About 3 years ago, I bought a Tri-emitter saber from SaberForge with champion electronics, sooth swing, rechargeable hilt, the whole shebang. Worked perfectly and I used it on a weekly basis. Flawless.

I then left for two complete years and packed the saber up in a box. The thing wasn’t touched for those years. I recently came back about ~14 days ago, and on plugging the saber in, there’s no internal light, and it remains completely inert and non responsive, even after leaving it charging overnight, changing charging cables/plugs, etc..

Any ideas or advice on how to get this up and running again?

Edit: the titles a bit bad, it would probably be better to say “can a saber become non funcional from no use”.. I lived not speaking English those 2 years either, so still trying to get back my vocabulary. My bad.

battery 100% could have died while just sitting around and beind discharged too far.
