Not the first Sabertrio support thread today I know. Upgraded to the new power core system from the legacy system from Sabertrio, and I'm trying to add new bladestyles to the saber. However, after plugging my chassis in to my computer via the included USB-C cable, it's not showing up on my PC. Also just tried connecting another saber's proffieboard via a micro usb cable and my PC recognized it just fine. Any ideas what's going wrong?

yeah, the C port isn't wired for data.

#

either that or it's wired incorrectly.

hmm yeah they say on the website to use the provided cable

you can actually check, if it's a v2.2 board there would be a micro plug plugged into the board, and v3.9, you would see the wires on the board top if the C port is wired in as a remote port.

Any idea how I can check that?

heh, of course it's upside down.

#

these are the remote connection pads on the v3, which is on the top of the board.

Yeahh unfortunately I think I'd have to tear this apart to check that

if it's connected then it's connected incorrectly

I mean connecting it causes this to show up

which would be a different circuit.

ah. yea might just have to email them about this then :/

Just made a support ticket with them! Hopefully I won't have to send my hilt back (again) lol. Thanks for taking the time to help!

Update: Screwed in the speaker and somehow that solved the issue. Now my PC recognizes the chassis fine. Didn't expect that to be the issue lol

might be how it's wired or something, or it's putting pressure on a loose connection.
