Xeno3 fonts disappearing? | r/lightsabers | Page 1

Hey so I’ve noticed that seemingly at random, my Xeno3 will lose roughly half of my built in fonts & randomly get them back. Is there a way to mitigate this? I’m not even sure what could have caused it as I’ve not messed with the SD card or anything, except the battery as I’ll swap it out with a freshly charged one on occasion. Any advise?

Does it keep the first 16 if it happens? Sounds liek the SD card is flakey, either with it's connection or the cardis not functioning properly.

The xeno3 has the first 16 fonts built into the card so if the SD is removed, those still work.

Yeah it does keep the first 16. Is there a way to fix that?

Check if the holder is loose, check the card is seated properly. Maybe even reformat the card if it could be an issue with the card itself (copy the contents off first so you can restore it.

I tried the holder, & to make sure it’s seated properly. It hasn’t seemed to fix my issue. How exactly do I reformat? I’ve never done this before, this is my first neopixel/xenopixel lightsaber.
