#Tip of saber no longer lighting up after being flashed in arduino
18 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I am absolutely terrified that I somehow damaged either the board or the LEDs, and have no idea what im doing
im not really familiar with proffie but is the blade length configured properly?
where do you configure blade length?
i think i may have figured it out
i have a 36 inch blade, which padawan outpost uses 144 leds for, but they mustve installed the config on the sd card with only 114
i fixed my problem
a 36 inch blade from most of the LGT sellers should only be 130 leds. the number at the top is a ram bugger which should stay at 144. the number in the blade define at the bottom should be your actual length.
there are 2 ways to find out the actual length. either use the length finder style or use edit mode
padawan outpost lists it as 144
ok. i've never seen one. i'd do the on blade option just to make sure. my 3 bendu's and 2 others that are 36 all sit at 130 leds.
if it was given too much length the tip drag shouldnt show up correct?
cause if it was 130, then it should be about 14 leds ahead of where the tip is
correct.
the density of the strips most everybody uses is 144 per meter which is like 39" iirc
which is around 3.6 led's per inch. totals out to right around 130 for 36"
weird, next time i make a config file ill try 130 and see if it leaves a blank end
