Also I should say that I haven't edited anything yet - not the config, or anything in the SD card. I only seemed to start getting this issue after taking the SD card out, to be honest.

backup your SD card and try formatting it

#

it's more likely to be a bad card or badly formatted card than a bad card slot on the board

yeah reformatting didn't help. its just deciding to read it when it wants

I got a new card and it's not being read. 32GB SDHC

Formatted to FAT32

#

So probably the board?

I copied all the fonts from the old card that's able to be read to the new one, so config-wise it should be fine

I know that it's detecting the card.. without it in, it immediately says SD card not found

#

But with it in, it takes about 5 seconds before I get the error
