do you remember which version/buildnumber you used before updating?
Also could you elaborate how it exactly is not working? How does the app behave?
Due to some Information I found Google Play seems not available/limiting functionality of apps in Syria. So maybe some Security Calls are happening now we require and could fail due to restrictions for your country. Another case which could happen is that your government maybe banned some internet access to specific things the app requires.
