Events can be fun. Airports are busy. ATC is/are busy.
However, it's really chaotic. Chaos should be on the first 1 or two servers only. (Training, and forgivable on Advanced I think?)
How about making events realistic by having some sort of reprimand or punishment for pilots who run over other planes... or for ATC who are trolling? Something similar to ATC Report?
Pilot and/or ATC will avoid trolling and making intentional mistakes because we'd like to assume they want their event token.
But for this to happen, education is also needed.
ATC should know what to do, and pilots should know their thing too.
But I just want to make a move to make events more realistic.
Maybe soon we can avoid planes spawning on top of each other, etc.
Let's not worry about spawning at the wrong gate or using the right liveries and callsign, I think that's too much.
But at least let's do something so planes don't run over each other, etc. Let's wait in line, let's go around if needed, and let's teach players how to do/execute those things.
I find it beautiful when players wait in line for departure, even when there's no ATC. I personally can enjoy events only if I ignore the pilots and players who do silly stuff on purpose. When did RFS became okay with these?
If we can't do this, then I gotta say, is this what RFS is? A 'game' where we chase tokens and achievements. Where we have little care about realism? So much for a 'simulator' then? If we can't at least try to simulate real-life stuff?
