#Backdrop Queuing

As someone who overwhelmingly prefers theatre of the mind over maps, I often find myself using the backdrop function with staging which I love.

What I would love to be able to do though, to avoid the moment where for a moment the players between scenes are shown the blades map again, is the ability to pre-prepare the next backdrop during a scene change and have the new backdrop fade in or just appear on screen without showing the map.

This would allow me to control the flow of the visuals better, but I understand that I am most likely a minority case in how I use OMM and this would be no where near the priority.

So turns out this is possible by using control+k, but its a little hidden and would love it to be an option beside backdrop. I may be missing something though, its been known to happen

Ah, noted! I do think visual transitions would be a little tough, especially to do so w/o messing up loading times, etc.

You could make a level with a level background (not a backdrop) as by default send everyone there instead of to the blades map, if that makes sense, just so that in moments between backdrops, they're still seeing something beautiful and atmospheric?
