Not entirely, some are built physically and some are built for special attack. If you don’t have the right mons to damage them then rethink a new strat.

I didn't really get into comp until sword/shield. So I'm also still learning what moves people typically run vs what someone might run

You’re running the right natures and hyper trained/best stats right?

They have the natures that best suit the strat im trying to pull off and they are mostly 6iv or hypertrained

The Gen 1 team was co built by a comp veteran in another discord group

Every mon has a gimmick. Pyroar isn’t mainly used in competitive because of its poor move pool but with focus band/endeavor it’s ridiculously stupid. Research their hidden abilities too. Also try running toxic or an item that can do passive healing or passive damage.

Yeah. I run an exeggutor with harvest and a sitrus berry

It isn’t 100% guaranteed for harvest to work unless you have a mon with a sun set up

I usually baton pass with the defense buffs into him to put bulk on bulk and stay alive forever unless a lucky crit

Highly suggest you try getting a mon like ninetails or torcoal
