#Reports channel should be private

I believe the reason why we have the setup we do is so that it’s less of a hassle for everyone to communicate. It is efficient to be able to jump back and forth between channels and users as things are now—a ticket system would complicate these things and not only leads to duplicate reports, but is more abusable (this also goes both ways, in this regard transparency is important and whatever the staff feels like doesn’t need to be private, isn’t). When multiple people are involved in reports and things need to be facilitated such as a trade-back, or during other times extra input is necessary, it can be given in accordance to the guidelines.
To add to the above, you do not have to make a report publically if you do not feel comfortable doing so. In the side-bar you should see the names of The Owner, Admins, Moderators and the Trial-Moderators. Anyone and everyone is free to DM any of us if we're showing online to make a report privately to us when we are available. That is why some folk literallly ask in reports if they can DM a moderator. Our job is to help you in an efficient, albeit, comfortable way for the individual whom is reporting.
