Bump: WITH the 3 extra rolls with title power sandwich and the 2 extra rolls for the DLC exclusive mark charm, the math is as follows

Banned 3 Seg dundunsparce (1/100 chance)

Vs

Non banned shiny rare marked pokemon (6/1000 or 1/167).

But dundunsparce is banned because its too rare. 😭 Theres no logic, ban the rare marks or give me my dundunsparce

If anyone has any sound provable logic behind why one should be banned more than the other I am completely open to hearing you out! But as it stands with the information I have the ban doesn't make since when the other isn't banned.

Shiny odds for a outbreak dundunsparce are 1/512 which I didn't include in the original post since other shiny outbreaks are 1/512 as well.

The rates i posted are after boosts from charms and sandwiches

So it would be the shiny odds

1/512 * 6/1000 or 1/167

Im comparison to

1/512 * 1/100

This is ONLY including mons in outbreaks, those that cannot be found in outbreaks at best have a 1/683 chance to be shiny, which further supports my arguement that shiny rare marked mons are more rare than the shiny 3 seg dundunsparce

I can break down every bit of information if you'd like ie: the amount of rolls each factor effects as well as other external factors like raid encounters.

💀 Thats my point though, if you cant tell then why not blanket ban rare marked shinies as well.

They are harder to obtain statistically (not including spawn times because itd be so difficult to track) and can't be proven as illegitimate either

Not that I want rare marked shinies banned, more just the math isn't mathing.

Because like I said, they were a proven hacking target when the game came out. We saw a lot of them being distributed. We didn't see rare marks targetted

I like you. Fair enough, game came out and high amounts of extremely rare mon being distributed is enough proof for me.

yeah like you said. maths checks out the other way. but less people target marks somehow

i guess because 3 seg dunsparce is a lot more visible as unique than a rare mark that doesn't show much apart from a line in battle

Not to mention, EVERY shiny you catch can have the mark. You have to be hunting dunsparce specifically to get the 3 segment.

Then why isn’t it the same for a shiny authentic/antique sinestea because to get both is super rare so why are the other mons banned in trade but that isn’t and dunsparce has a high spawn rate so there is a higher shiny rate
