I was expecting the pokedex to actually show you the habitat for version exclusives as long as you're actually in the game for them but it still shows a big question mark. That would have made hunting for them easier :/

Another thing they should do is have pokemon that can talk either vocally or psychically to be able to say comments to you when you interact with it during picnic or let's go mode. Pokemon like Slowking, Lucario, Guardevoir (probably butchered that) and some of the super intelligent legendaries

Also they could have made it to where when you do a plot thing that involved going into the school or doing things for the academy you have to wear the uniform, but when you're done with all the main stuff or you're doing the starfall or the thing with Arven then you can wear whatever you want. It'd seem more realistic like how in anime whenever they're not at school they'll sometimes be in casual clothes

It's still the best pokemon game in a long time despite how the graphics kinda suck a little bit and it had bugs that needed to be fixed. But it's got some of the best plot lines and characters in the whole franchise and the way encounters can be seen instead of random makes getting a whole pokedex something that can actually be done without taking several months to forever
