#new Tera raider info packet!

Hello!! I hope whoever is reading this is having a wonderful day :D
I had an idea for something that might be cool, that being a raid newcomer info packet in the Tera raid pins !! New raiders often don’t understand the norms for joining Tera raids (don’t ping hosts un-necessarily, bring level 100 mons to 6 stars, etc) and while a lot of that information IS in the pins, there’s a LOT of stuff in the pins. I think it would be a lot easier for new raiders if there was some kinda word doc organizing a bunch of the information into catagories and stuff! Maybe the regular hosts could have introduction sections, or something!

Please keep in mind this is just a suggestion :3 if it’s not something that would be helpful or if it wouldn’t work, that’s okay!!

Also to you Jack, I like to think all our hosts and RH will tell people if they say they're new. Having to read a whole word document might be seen as too much and people may just ignore it growlithe_think

it’s mainly just, there is a lot of info to be learnt and it might be easier for some to have sort of something to look at instead of having to ask or get told off for doing something wrong.
I know I’m a very nervous person, and it was really hard for me to ask questions when I first started :V

But it’s definitely not hard to learn once you get into the swing of things!

I deffo think a smaller thing like an etiquette guide could work! Or have it be like a -raid command we could pull up for people growlithe_think Like a couple quick points about how we do raids so things like

  • 1 attacker, 3 supports.
  • How to buff/debuff
    -Why we set up how we do
    -General etiquette like not pinging hosts
    Then a link to the tera strategy post?

Thats honestly what I had in mind! I don’t know how the commands work so I didn’t really know if it makes sense to add one for this but if that’s possible it seems easier than a Google doc haha

I think pins are easier to point to in the right direction as you have to remember the command triggers to tell people. Since you can point to pins, or copy the message link on pins to trigger rotom bot (loke above)

I have 0 say. I dont see any harm in it though. Atleast the pin option. Idk how convoluted it is to set up the command
