Basically, a read-only channel with the most important pins/guides from each informational-type channel posted in there, (ie sandwich info, breeding calculator, game maps, EV spreads, etc). I know there are bound to be more that I’m forgetting as examples of the utility. The reason I suggest it is that there’s information I’ve almost certainly seen as commands or other posts that are images or text posts but aren’t captioned/worded in such a way to make them easily retrieved without just clicking all possibly relevant channels and combing the pins, or pulling up the command master list for the bots.
#Resources channel?

Also: some things like sandwich guides are captioned in a relatively searchable manner, but the words are so common use when people ask for them or use them in other contexts that it makes combing through search time consuming too (“sandwich guide” was arguably a bad example as it only pulls 4 pages of results, but other terms have more pages), and other things have guides that vary based on the game, making that also a little tricky.
I propose specifically that we have a singular “resources and guides” channel and then in it, like 4 threads (BSDP, PLA, SV, SWSH) with the information posted, so you can just click the appropriate thread and all the resources are compiled.
Edit: maybe 5, the fifth being a thread for generally applicable content info for all games, or at least those within the past like 2 gens, ie type effectiveness chart, or Masuda basics.
I don’t know what to add further than the following, so suggestions for the list are welcome
General:
Breeding IV calculator
EV calculator/info
Type effectiveness
Apriball list
Game map (in each relevant channel)
Masuda basics
Version exclusives (per relevant channel)
Catch rate calculator
BDSP:
Poffin guide
Super contest guide
SWSH:
Curry guide
Cram-o-matic guide
SV:
Egg sandwich guide
General sandwich guide or simulator
Picnic guide?
PLA:
Crafting guide
Not a bad idea since no one ever reads pins 😂
What about catch rate calculators? Could definitely put one in that general thread you thought of.
No one would likely read that either as a lot of folks just don't read or y'know helpful people direct them to where they need to go lol
Unfortunate. Thank you for providing a reasoning and not a mere “no” without explanation, it is appreciated!
