It's getting harder to find raids/trades/etc when even mods are using channels for general chat. If general chat is too flooded, maybe make more of them?

some people like to chat in seperate social channels, general chit chat is frowned upon in the trading channels, but #tera_raids #breeding_discussion etc is fine for chit chat alongside the main channel relevance.

Not everyone is robots. Hosting raids is an incredibly time consuming process. Hosts don’t get any benefit out of doing so. And people are here to have fun. Asking people to stop chatting will remove the entire point of hosting. As long as people are able to raid and enjoy themselves the channel is doing its job
@spring prism you’re welcome to actually respond instead of posting passive aggressive emojis. I’ve yet to see a good reason for your suggestion. If you’re struggling to get into raids I could understand. But whining about people enjoying themselves while they’re also donating their time for your benefit is pretty entitled

I'm sorry you felt it was passive aggressive, I was just noting that I disagree with a quick emote as I didn't think you wanted a real conversation. The accusation that I'm saying this for my own benefit rather than other people who also want to raid/do raids/trade etc. is disappinting, but I also know that you deal with a lot of trolls, so I get it.
There are other servers that host, and this one has been my favorite. I've invited friends and followers on social media in the past because of that. Not saying I'm leaving or anything like that, I'm saying this b/c I really wanted to help and I'm sad to see this reaction, but I'm also in the minority.
I'm glad Harry and others see general chat as a dumpster fire as it shows there's a problem, but it's hard not to see other channels following suit if nothing is done. Truly, good luck tackling things. Nothing passive aggressive here, and thanks for hosting. 🙇♂️

It comes across poorly when we’ve had 3 mods tell you the same thing. I fully understand that chat can be disruptive at times but we have staff to quell that. And we’re here to help. Restricting everyone to just raiding would absolutely kill the channel, which is why this middle ground works. If people are being too much, please just ping <@&663762019182182400> and we’ll deal with it

Apologies if pinging multiple staff was an issue, I've seen trial mods make mistakes in the past. I'm also used to mods being more forceful about topics. I simply misunderstood the chat culture here. That's on me. I'm obviously in the minority and people like the current way you guys run things. It's good that you support your main base. Again, nothing passive aggressive here. I can adjust my expectations accordingly. Thanks to you and your staff for being direct 👍
