Hi there... um. I have huge anxiety issues. And well honestly it's kind of a big deal I'm even bringing something like this up on my own so I guess therapy is helping or whatever but um here goes... I was wondering if there's any shot... if it's not any trouble that is... could we get a tts bot for vc so that folks with my disability or ones similar or that are maybe just uncomfy speaking aloud can take part in vc sessions as well? If not I'll totally understand. Thanks for taking the time to read my request either way.

If possible I certainly vouch for this, I know myself and others have used external software for this purpose before and it can get tedious to set up so I don’t think it should be the only option. Discord has a built-in TTS feature but it’s not accessible on mobile, and even on PC from what I remember correctly I’m not sure we have permissions to use it which is why I had to customize my microphone settings in the first place.

While it may annoy you, I do think this would be a good idea for those with disabilities (Such as being mute or blind) or just generally not wanting to use their voice because of other reasons.
