SV Tera Raid Channels

There are far to many people chitchatting in tera raid channel to the point its hard to see posts before they are scrolled into oblivion and tera raid 2 isnt being used at all.

My suggestion is as follows:

1. change tera raid 1 into Raid Discussion with the standard 10 second slow mode.
2. change tera raid 2 into 5 star or lower only, increase the slow mode to 30s.
   3)Add a new channel specifically for the higher raids 6-7 stars with a 30s slow mode.

Optional:
4)Verification of the Discord players name with their in game name to identify those who are trolling in high level raids (such as attacking you while youre trying to beat the pokemon, going afk, etc).
Example; My name in game is 'Canadian' so id show proof of that. to gain access to the raid channels. If i troll i can be identified and punished by mods such as removing access to the raid channels. consistent misbehaving can result in potential banning or something idk.
This would require using the role function to obtain access.

The slow mode increases is to reduce spamming and discourage chatting it those channels, and keep it in the raid discussion as previously started.

This has been discussed multiple times previous, we welcome chit chat in the channels like #tera_raids, many people get in the raids regardless, and have stated we won’t be dividing the raid channels into different levels or types due to moderation of users not following the types regardless.

Constant misuse and toxic behaviour already gets handled within the channels where we see it or it is brought up to us,

Having to verify 130k+ members just so they can look at codes in the raid channels isn’t something we’re looking to do just because a couple of people want robotic and static chats as they can’t get into raids

1. Add a memes channel
   A) No. This is a huge public discord, any meme channel would be massively misused and we do not feel its appropriate for this server.

2. Add more vanity roles!
   A) Currently, we have a huge amount of roles within the server, and adding more would cause more issues. We have ideas for future options, but right now we cannot safely add more

3. Add more raid channels for specific things
   A) We do not wish to segregate the channels more than they currently are. We will host special raid channels for events, but will not enforce more than that. People are free to use whichever strategy they'd like, and it would be impossible for us to enforce people use specific channels for raids, or verify they should be in the channel they are in.

and how do people verify toxic behavior in game via being afk? im not talking about toxic behaviour in the discord channel im talking about in game by linking the 2 together, and seperating people who are just chatting from those who are looking for or posting raids. the verification was also only an optional thing i threw in. especially since now people are mostly looking for cinderace raids.
