1. Add a memes channel
   A) No. This is a huge public discord, any meme channel would be massively misused and we do not feel its appropriate for this server.

2. Add more vanity roles!
   A) Currently, we have a huge amount of roles within the server, and adding more would cause more issues. We have ideas for future options, but right now we cannot safely add more

3. Add more raid channels for specific things
   A) We do not wish to segregate the channels more than they currently are. We will host special raid channels for events, but will not enforce more than that. People are free to use whichever strategy they'd like, and it would be impossible for us to enforce people use specific channels for raids, or verify they should be in the channel they are in.

Figured this is a bit minor to make a thread over - though when there's an announcement about a channel getting archived/booted, it may be worth mentioning the name in plaintext. Otherwise, once the channel becomes inaccessible, it only reads 'No Access' - at the very least on PC clients.

'Course someone might be able to figure out what channel the announcement is referring to by context, but it can be a bit confusing at first glance otherwise.

May I suggest that for the Owner of the server to give the best idea.

Gym Battle in Singles: in 3v3 or 6v6
Decision Making 3v3 or 6v6: ||Do a Coin Toss from Google to see who land first to makes the decison which the challenger will choose either 3v3 or 6v6 throught the battle set.||

Make 8 Gym Battles Roles for 8 Mods/ Your Trusted Fellow Members. The Trainers who Won in Gym Battle will earn "Badges Roles" in "Singles "Battles. Next "Challenge Elite 4 and The Pokemon Champion.

Pokemon Gym Leaders will have to used there Typing Team
if it's 3v3 you will have to choose only 2 Same Typing Pokemon and you can selected any pokemon on your last party team.

For Example: Gym leader Choose: 2 Steel Types and Choose 1 Different Pokemon Your Choose whatever

if it's 6v6: *Gym Leader Must Selected: 3 Same Typing Pokemon and the rest of your 3 missing spots will be your decision to choose freely.

For Example: Gym Leader Choose: 3 Steel Types and the other 3 Choose whatever

And Yes.... Legendaries, Mythical and Paradox Pokemon are Required to Used for your Benefits of your own choice of view. so yeah... your welcome.

If you Collect 8 badges you'll be able to enter to Battle The Elite 4 & The Champion The Mastermind. and/or Pokemon Battle Rank Tournaments Chat

Coordinator Battles in Double Battles: in 4v4 or 6v6

Coordinators who have earned Ribbons 5 Roles of the Number Ribbons you've earn.

If you have 5 ribbons or alot of ribbons you will be able to go to the grand rank festival and/or if you want... you can go challenge...

The Coordinator Judges aka The 4 Horseman and Battle The Champion which is the The Surpreme Champion.

This not feasible for the server with 18k+ members. It takes a lot of work and time to plan, moderate and hold something like this.

I don't know if this would be considered, but at least wanted to mention- could a separate "Sponsored Giveaways" role exist for all of the "join this server to maybe win Nitro" giveaways? There have been many of those recently and for anyone without nitro it is difficult or impossible to join new servers within the current 100 server limit, in addition to many simply not wanting to join a server they aren't interested in just to possibly win.

I understand in these cases we can simply not enter, but with the frequency of the funlab role pings and another server now partnering for the same, the actual local server Giveaway role is getting diluted with mostly out-of-server offers

I understand that, but realistically, the size and actual worth of the giveaways is only there because of the large userbase the ping reaches. we simply wouldnt be able to offer stuff like real world rewards or 100$s of nitro if we made the scope smaller

The roles are entirely voluntary, and you can mute per channel basis

but at the end of the day, its free stuff getting given away. We're not getting paid to do them, it's mostly just so users can get nice stuff

I understand, thank you for the explanation and I am also glad users can get nice things for free! Unfortunately this does not work in discord as I have had it set this way for a long time (the funlab channel set as an exception to mute all notifs) but role pings always supersede channel settings.

It's something I could try to work on by either following the announcements channel in my own server and removing my giveaway ping, or maybe trying Mark as Read in discord inbox (hasn't worked yet, but updates happen)

As with most discord features, it’s half baked. But there should be a way to get it to work. Realistically these pings aren’t often. It’s just been the switch 2 release + us helping a long time friend of the server that overlapped. We shouldn’t be pinging often
