idk, it doesn’t feel super welcoming to post in Tera raids channels when people laugh react and get super angry at others for not being as “skilled” or “built” like them and their mons. It feels like mods and admins tell them off and they just ignore and continue the attitudes. it’s getting worse by the day and I know mods, admins and trial mods are trying their hardest but I think harsher punishments should probably be given to those ignoring and still continuing to be overly toxic in a public and open discord such as this with a wide variety of people and how they play.

Unfortunately every time I go to post a raid I see people being told off for toxic behaviours or being toxic and I just think to myself “no thanks not today” and don’t do it. I know the teams are trying to stop this kind of behaviours but it just seems to be the same pool of people every time I look

We get it - the people who are innately toxic and unbending will end up banned in nearly all cases. What we have to balance is people who are genuine community members who might once or twice feel immensely frustrated in Tera raids and vent how they're feeling. We don't want to punish those people for having a moment or a couple of moments of weakness. In those cases we give a warning for people to remind themselves of what's appropriate and act accordingly.
What we are concerned with is people who treat the raid channels like a form of competitive elitism and bring in the toxicity of other serious comp games. Our raid helpers and moderation team keep an eye on these people and rest assured they are noted and will end up banned. It helps us if you call out this conduct too, and if you need raise it to us in #reports - it will feel sometimes like there's a lot of toxicity around there but don't forget that the games are still new and people are very excited too. Sometimes the frustration comes from passion and excitement and not just gamer in the basement anger. We are constantly monitoring the channels and if you have any other ideas on how we can make the raiding experience better please let us know!

I completely understand and thank you for reading and replying quickly. It’s just super unnerving to post when you’re not following their strats or not posting 5/6 stars since they laugh or skull react. It would just be nice if the small minority of toxic behaviours weren’t so loud and proud. I’m glad to see things are being done to repeat offenders though. It’s just I don’t ever remember swsh raid section ever being like this. I’ll keep my head thinking if there’s any way to reduce this to reduce the workload for staff tho
