Hi, I would like to make a suggestion about the server trading channel.
With the new generation released, trading becomes much more active. Due to the high traffic of trading for SV, I think it is better to have different trading channels exclusive to SV. Here is my suggested assortment:
Pokedex and Non-shiny Trading
Shiny Trading
Item Trading

This separation of trading will allow trading posts to be seen by more people. Therefore it will result in better quality of trading instead of trading posts get lost immediately by other posts. To prevent people offering shiny in non-shiny channel, you guys can implement the bot that detects "shiny" word

After 1-2 years when the trading activity slows down, you guys can reverse back to 1 trading channel

To add onto this, a separate channel for ditto trading aswell as that takes up a very large portion of the trading space

Big agree. Separate channels for just completing the dex and/or touch trades vs trading for shinies and legendaries would be fantastic.

Perhaps a text channel for asking/begging since, afaik, begging is not allowed in the trading_sv channel and people get a stern talking to if they ask in the SV discussion ch.

It's not like all requests have to be fulfilled either. Just having a channel where you can ask for stuff without requiring something valuable would be nice. To be honest I prefer to just give my extras away anyways. I suppose this could fall under the category of give away but I feel that such a channel would be great for people who aren't as well versed in all that is pokemon and others who are just trying to finish their dex or whatever.
