Maybe create a league for pokemon showdown players to participate in with gyms and E4/Champion? make it long and the person with the most badges at the end/defeats the champion first gets a special role?

i will be the evil jengablocks and posit that showdown instead of cart might not be entirely fitting for this server, which revolves around the main series games and official material within it

we did have a vgc draft league not too long ago that was on showdown, i think, but i think that's probably the one circumstance that prefers showdown just due to being a draft league

that was also way past the release of swsh, so a lot of the new shiny appeal and excitement wasn't really there anymore anyway
