even with shiny hunting, being limited to basically the og 151 minus a few things in post game ofc
id still rather play frlg over bdsp tho. BDSP is a nightmare
For a second I thought these were all shiny and I was like what
I need to finish my dex eventually...I'm so close
gonna have to give it a bit of a wait before I can bring myself to do my FR playthrough though
I've yet to buy it in the switch, would I be able to trade with friends over the Internet on fr/lg
Local trades only
Thank you
Why is BDSP a nightmare?
What's wrong ðŸ˜
I found gen 4 pretty cool, but I liked gen 5 more
gen 4 is just not a great gen to me. most of the new mons being just added evos, not liking any of the gen 4 mons in general besides burmy + evos, bdsp didnt help either cuz that game is just a actual copy paste of diamond and pearl
bdsp using the chibi style, didnt like that either
gen 5 stands on top of gen 4 of likeness to me
Gen 4 is overrated
But I think platinum is a pretty decent Pokémon game
They clear all of gen 2 by leagues and leagues
sinnoh maybe but HGSS are among my top games
see i might think differently if i played platinum. i got diamond for free so im biased
got it for free and still ungrateful smh /j
Diamond was my first legitimate game (grew up on hand-me-down computers that had emulators on em-) so I will always have a soft spot for it tbh
Hard for me to even give bdsp much shit, even if it is definitely a flawed game, if only because it does its job well for the tools/resources that ILCA was given
There's little touches here and there to the game that has me willing to die on the hill that ILCA probably would've done better if given the time/resources needed
diamond was my first game because my brother had it and a ds, and hgss, although I only played hg because he didn't want me erasing his save on ss
I think he had platinum too, which is why he let me play diamond
I remember he would always name his character Ash and I didn't know why until years later
I was probably like 4 at the time
Do you happen to still have any 'mons from those days? I actually still have my original Empoleon ehehe
no, I don't even think my brother still has the cartridges unfortunately
I was 4, they were just games to me then
Diamond was my first pokemon game too
we do appear to be in that age group
