hello there! i recently got back on my numworks N0110, and i kinda tried putting different games on it using nofrendo, and i was wondering, what are the limits for it, assuming only like, the default upsilon OS with nofrendo? i know the N0110 has 256 KB of RAM, so i assume that ROMs are limited to less than 254 KB of ROM? but what about RAM and SRAM limitations, how much can i get away with overall? and how much can i get away with without breaking the savestate system of nofrendo? that'd really help me to decide what game(s) to put on it
#how much space for nofrendo

You can have a ROM bigger than the RAM, as the rom is not copied on the ram
iirc there is ±80 KB of ram available to external apps
alright, so in terms of RAM usage (CHR RAM or WRAM) the max is around 80 KB
what about ROM though? what's the max size for it?
There is 6 Mo of flash available to store external apps and external files (not Python)
If you want to use the slot B (for dual booting) , you can only use 2 Mo of flash for external apps and files (ROM)
i see, so theoritically i could take up to 6 MB of of ROM space overall- so the only limitations are unsupported mappers and stuff like that then-
