#Unofficial software, How to remove the popup?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
No other way than installing e15.5.0 or omega or upsilon
If this solves the problem, please close the thread
Nope it doesn't, I know for a fact that the message is sent by a part of the kernel shouldn't it be possible to modify it?
I mean if it answers your question
you can but you'll not be able to install it
because of the way numworks installs things on latest version of epsilon
only numworks verified os can be installed
else it will be seen as third-pârty app
what about if you erase everything (erase flash memory + add custom bootloader or such) and just install the modded dfu, it should work, doesn't it?
nope because you don't have the source code of numworks bootloader and that it won't let you erase
A custom one would though
yep code it
You need the official kernel
Won't work
I see, do you have the official dfu image for version 15.5 then?
I don't have this popup
So btw how omega does actually work, since it's a custom image shouldn't you get the exact same message?
The kernel is different that's basically why the popup isn't here since it was introduced in later versions
Won't work
Custom userland need the same official kernel
Need V16 minimum
So omega won't work if I try to install it?
Always thought that it would be possible with money and time to read it from the memory. Gotta dig into this. 📝
