no, we give image perms after 7 days too, but only to media and photography channels

New users receive the official Member role 7 days after joining. If you joined 7 days ago and still don't have the role please be patient, our systems update the database at a certain time of the day!
Being a New Member means that you won't be able to:

1. Post media in selected channels of the server
2. Turn on your camera in voice chats
3. Nitro features such a custom emojis/stickers are disabled for you in case you are a subscriber.

Im aware but then we have to decide if the person whos been here every day all day long with 1k message daily average is a casual chatter but what do we do about the user thats less active maybe once a day due to IRL commitments who only can send and engage for 200 msgs

wheres that fair now..? thats really hard of us to do that and be the deciding factor to users

Yeah but where do we draw this line that their "consistent"? Youve been here 6 months about and done 3.5k messages.. 180 days by 3.5k messages says you do daily of 19 messages a day, are you a consistent chatter then?

Like theres no way to make this fair

Then.. you can count the total for the last week or 2, and based on the total, the member can claim pic perms for the next 2 weeks! And if they still talk about the same amount, they can claim it again when it expires!

And this can be easily done by a bot

So the admins dont have to check everyone

Im aware, but now, are you a consistent chatter still? your 76 messages in the last 14 days so a average of 5.4 messages a day.

this feels like a dead argument.. Theres a reason why its boosting or VIP for most channel pic perms. Or your a regular user and use the media channel and ping your friends there, I see it all the time

yeah sorry, as much as I appreciate the suggestion, its also a system that I do not feel we will change. You've boosted at one point yourself to get the color roles.
