Hellooo, I'd like to suggest a Halloween writing event/competition!
First off, I'd like to say that I know there's another writing even we're hoping to get, but that would be more general, unlike this one that would be aimed more at horror.
If it were a competition everyone could submit a short story, poem or prose that would be around a chose theme.
About judges:
We could either find judges who are willing to read all the submissions
OR
We could do a public vote! Gather all the submissions somewhere (maybe a Google docs) and then let anyone read them and vote for their favourites
My ideas for themes:
- Halloween
- fear or horror
- scary stories
- legends and folk tales
Some rules for the submissions:
(we could all try to discuss the specifics and suggest new rules if needed)
- a word limit ( maybe ~ 600 words)
- must be one of the themes
- a deadline (probubly till October 31st)
- one entry per person
Would this be possible?
I think so many people on here would be interested in this. Please let me know if you are interested so we can get attention from the mods and make this possible!!! 🙏🙏
