hey, its fine to keep your relationship private! there's nothing wrong about that. but maybe you should atleast tell others that ur in a relationship, so that other guys don't approach you. your bf should do the same.

Ok so this kinda matches my situation. Ok so do you think your friends spread things? If so then DEFINITELY NOT. If you both like each other than just date each other no need to tell others. I can also feel the feeling bad about not telling Friends. Well it's alright when you both have already dated a bit then tell them slowly

if they're great friends or best friends, i think you should tell them.
what if things get concerning with your guy? you need to have someone you can talk to about it. in my experience, my ex always told me not to talk about us with anyone. later, when i finally opened up about it w my friend, i realised he was being manipulative. thats just my experience but i think it's very healthy to talk about it.
if your concerns include anything like gossip or sth, feel free to keep it private; but if they're good friends, they will be there for you even tho they arent fond of the guy.
