More venting channels

3 venting channels, 35k members, atleast over 10k who are online daily, I've seen thst some people -including myself- can't find an empty channel when we need someone to talk to, we do not like to disturb someone's time venting (it's even mentioned in the rules)—but we also want to vent, why not making 4th or even 5th venting channels to help expand the security of healthiness of all members

Agree partially , maybe this will break #venting-1 ‘s curse too 😭

I would agree with doing this.... Other than the bigger problem is Venting 1 90% of the time is as chaotic as main chat and half the time is off topic... and Every time I go in there I have to put people back on topic... Yet venting 2 is on and off through out the day and venting 3 sometimes I dont see people talk in for more than 12-18 hours at a time... so theres almost ALWAYS somewhere to talk... just venting 1 is where 90% of people chat for venting and where people then see to help other vents.... I'll talk with fellow staff and chat but I dunno if we'll add more venting tbh.. We need to get the reins on venting 1 being so out of control 99% of the time..

Meaning there isn't always a place to chat, there are few times where people are sadly unable to vent right away, adding only one is not going to make any management problems (I can prove it) and it would fill that gap

I’m not disputing your request!!! No need to prove it to me either.. I’ve been here long enough to know what your talking about.. I’ve seen it every once a while too… i’m not the person you have to preach to and persuade lol.. i’ll step it up to the persons who does this stuff here and i’ll see if they share an opinion on this or not… I’m assuming it’s a no as we have other stuff right now we’re working on server wise, but i’ll add it to our discussion thread for server stuff and see what happens for you!!! I’ll tag this post there so they can refer to it if they wanna see the original request!!! I’ll reply here in a few days once i have an answer on if we’re gonna consider it or not or if it’s a solid no!! :)

I think that people, especially those who regularly welcome people should redirect them to vent 2 and 3 instead of 1 all the time(it's just muscle memory for us), but i don't think increasing the vent channels would help,with a server of 35k people 4, 5 even 10 vent channels may not be enough. And we already have a lot of other support channels.
