For 10 years now my father has been getting drunk. When he does he gets violent and it’s always towards my mom.

It’s terrifying, im scared, im exhausted, I really just want it all to stop, but he won’t stop.

My mom’s on a dependant visa, so she can’t work. We’re also immigrants. I’m a minor and I go to an international school, my younger brother does too.

I want to report my dad for domestic violence because really that’s what’s happening at home, or encourage my mom to divorce him and get to safety, but I don’t know what the consequences are.

She can’t make money, so could she still keep us? What’ll happen to us will we be sent back to where we’re from?

I want to know what my options are. I’m really scared for my mom, and I cant keep intervening and hoping my dad will calm down and not hit her.

What do you guys suggest?

Yea so you don't have either then, if you contact the immigration office, don't give them any info and ask the visa policies regarding that, they probably have something for it
If they have a protection in place if you're mom is able to work maybe she should try to becuase it'll definitely help a lot since the visa regulations I read says you need at least enough income to support yourself and your household and if you can get a different type of visa and then a divorce you should be ok, most countries have a way you can stay there especially having children a different way if there's abuse but document EVERYTHING, write things down with what happened and the time and date, record things if you can and always save all of it in multiple places including the cloud on private accounts no one else can access
